Our Logo's Meaning
The sun, mountain, and heart symbolize equality, growth, and empathy guiding our purpose. The "Outsider Mindset" is one that flows from Nature, from outside the boundaries of elitism and self-interests. In Nature, everything is connected and impacts everything else. The outside also contains the inside, so there is space for different approaches in different scenarios.
SUN - We all live under the sun. The Mystery of Life has bestowed equally upon us the capacity to survive, create, and to thrive. Over the span of time, our actions have brought us to the present moment. We admit that it is the light of our consciousness and the use of language that has given us the capacity to attempt to describe what is. This phenomena of observing the world, naming it, and taking action is subjective, relative, and improvised. There are many ways under the sun.
The memory of scarcity and past trauma warps our present-moment interpretation of our world. The wonders of technology and global communication have ushered in a new era, an era where we can see the universality of human experience - see the light that is everywhere on the planet. In this era, the ideas of scarcity, threats, and divisiveness are outdated. We give power to the darkness of fear only if we choose to believe in it. If we go for a calm walk outside, we can connect with our inner strength and realize that our neighbors and our opponents are not monsters - they are our equals.
MOUNTAIN - We face challenges. Working towards goals that are "better" requires us to create structure and order in our daily lives and our communities. The idea of government has the potential to help us to create structure and order that benefits everyone.
When we rise above our reactivity, pettiness, and greed, we can see broadly, impartially, and clearly. The mountain gives a new perspective. We can choose elevated goals. Then, when we experience the fruits of our labor, we feel accomplished. We feel good. When we choose simple goals that we can fundamentally agree upon, our communities benefit.
And what is better? We think that loving the place where we live is a better choice. Doing something every day to make our surroundings a little better is a good idea. It's better to help our neighbors.
HEART - The heart is the rhythm and felt tone at our center. As the heart beats and vibrates, it creates an electric field that broadcasts a signature expanding into the world. The heart also receives signals from the outside in. In this way, hearts allow us to sense and rhythmically coordinate our collective efforts in the continuous flow of giving and receiving that is Life.
Hearts are vulnerable to attack. When we experience the force of attack, our hearts can harden and get stuck in patterns of fear and negative feeling states that block us from expressing our full potential. We can lose our zest and assume danger when no danger exists.
We have work to do, but it is possible to grow in our capacity to dialogue and to soften our hearts so we remember that our neighbors can be our friends.
A value system that promotes freedom from attack unlocks the creative potential, imagination, and kindness of our People, our true wealth and security.
Our Intentions
This site shares thoughts through AI-crafted art. We want to be transparent about this. Our intention is to express ideas. We chose not to use realistic looking AI-images that could mislead people. As our party grows, we will have real photos of our experiences to share.
